Hello all! It's been a long year of primping & tweaking, but Android Re-Enactment is finally ready to be unleashed. Now begins the process of submitting to film festivals and trying to get the word out about our humble little film. Here below is the trailer.

It’s been almost a year since I updated you all on the happenings with Android. You’ll be glad to know that things are still progressing albeit slowly, but surely. Darryl has been taking great care to make sure everything is as good as it can possibly be and has been in contact with several individuals to facilitate that, but - as is the case with many an indie feature - these things do take time. However, I am posting here today to let you know that we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are just a few things to do, like adding the main titles, one last f/x shot improvement and some final ADR. The process of the latter was surprisingly light, considering how many takes were effed up by passing motorcycles during the shoot.

Once we get all that sorted out, Android Re-Enactment will be completed. Darryl tells me this could as early as (drum roll please) February! That’s great news!!!

Hey all,

It looks like we're nearly ready to unleash Android Re-Enactment onto the world. This weekend we shot footage for television programming that exists within the world of the film. It was a blast and everyone was pumped to be on set again. Here's a behind-the-scenes still from Wok with Drak.

Hello all,

Just checking in to let you all know we are getting closer to a finished product. Darryl tells me that we have a ninety-two minute cut of Android Re-Enactment finished and now all that is left is some tightening and fine tuning. But that's not all... I come bearing a few Easter eggs. Check out these two new stills.

Hello all,

I just wanted to let you all know we are still alive and kicking, even though the frequency of posts would have you believe otherwise. Android Re-Enactment is currently in the editing stage and a first rough cut is nearing completion. I hope to have some new stills to put up here soon. In the meantime, here is a trailer for a newly released project Red Moon Over Rigger's Pond featuring Android's star Jeff Sinasac. For more info, click here.

Killing Schrodinger's Cats is a feature film shot recently starring Bill Poulin and Todd Thomas Dark. See below for the trailer.

It's been a while since I've posted, but I just wanted to make sure you all knew that things are still progressing with Android Re-Enactment. Darryl is feverishly editing the footage together for a rough cut and you can be sure that I am hounding him on a weekly basis for some sort of teaser to put up here. I heard from Darryl this morning. It sounds like him and Steve are having a blast down there. They've been meeting with a lot of distributors and filmmakers and the reaction to the trailer and footage has been overwhelmingly positive.

More news to come, with hopefully some video by next week.

And They're Off!

Today, Darryl and Steve are off to sunny California for this year’s American Film Market. They are armed with some cut together footage and a whole lot of enthusiasm. I’m expecting updates from him over the next week, so stay tuned to see what happens to them over in Lalaland. Good luck guys!

Greetings and salutations! I guess you are wondering just what the heck is an Android Re-Enactment? Well, this past spring a bunch of crazy cats based in the GTA (that's Greater Toronto Area) decided to get together and shoot a feature film. Shooting began in early July in Niagara Falls and principal photography wrapped just a few weeks ago. My name is Jay Clarke, I am involved with the production (meaning I do whatever stuff needs to get done - in fact everybody has worn several different hats over the last few months) and when Darryl (the writer/director of AR) asked me to create a blog for it, I was happy to oblige. The AR blog is meant to work in tandem with the upcoming website, with an emphasis on interactivity. If you have any questions or remarks, feel free to post them here in the comments section, or email us directly at androidmovie@gmail.com. The shoot was a wild ride, as you will see as this blog evolves. Stay tuned.
